Job description

Responsibilities

  • To analyze the system performance of the systems responsible by Rail Facilities Management Department and identify areas of improvement and work with the respective engineers and the contractors to implement the improvements
  • To develop methodologies to appraise the system performance and reliability
    maintained by the department.
  • Manage NRFF Renewal/Enhancement, funding and disposal.
  • Be coordinator of ISO standards and Business Continuity Management (BCM) for the department and pariticipate in the audit and certification.
  • Digitalize the maintenance tracking, operations reporting, capture key information for system performance review and improvement toward conditional maintenance.
  • Co-ordinate and manage operational audits with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. authority like LTA) of the organization.
  • Develop recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to Head of RFM.
  • Custodian for RFM engineering systems, eg. Rail Corrective Maintenance System (RCMS), Maintenance Management System (MMS)
  • Collate and prepare departmental monthly report.
  • Assist in departmental budget preparation, monthly accrual, expenditure/budget analysis.
  • Develop and manage contractor audit plan with department engineers in charge to ensure contractors provide quality service.
  • Participate in sustainability and environmental conservation initiatives.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Superior.

Requirement

  • Local University Degree in Engineering, Building Services or Facilities Management
  • Preferably more than 4 years of relevant experience in building and/or building services maintenance management
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
