Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific PTE LTD is seeking an Electronics Engineer to drive test strategy, characterization plans, and test execution for new product introductions. Responsibilities

• Drive test strategy, test plan and characterization plan for NPI product development.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality assurance teams throughout the product development process.
• Build technical documentation including characterization plans, test plans, hardware requests, test status and characterization reports.
• Conduct testing and analysis to validate product performance and compliance with standards.
• Manage sample testing, anticipate issues and adjust processes to fulfill sample demand.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during development and production.
• Able to use ATE to perform simple debugging.
• Support product launch activities and provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams.
• Evaluate and improve existing products to enhance cost efficiency, output and quality by increasing yield, reducing test time, analyzing returns and test coverage.

Job description

YOUR ROLE

Work closely with Test Development leader together to drive test strategy, test plan and characterization plan definition for NPI product development.

Collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality assurance teams throughout the product development process.

Build technical documentation, including characterization plans, test plans, hardware request document, test status report and characterization report.

Conduct testing and analysis to validate product performance and compliance with standards.

Manage sample testing, anticipate potential issues and adjust processes to fulfill sample demand.

Identify and resolve technical issues during development and production.

Able to use ATE to perform simple debugging.

Support product launch activities and provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams.

Evaluate and improve existing products to enhance cost efficiency, output and quality by increasing yield, reducing test time, analyzing customer returns and test coverage improvement.
