Job summary

ams OSRAM’s LSP unit is seeking a hands-on process engineer to monitor and control semiconductor manufacturing processes, applying statistics and problem-solving to ensure stable output in a fast-paced production environment.

Fresh graduates or those with 0–3 years of backend assembly experience are welcome; you will collaborate with Production, Quality and Product Engineering while developing process specs, FMEA and control plans to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• 1–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of semiconductor backend assembly processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and process control techniques.
• Statistical tools: Minitab, JMP, SPC, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance and establish controls to ensure stable production output
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations and work closely with Production, Quality, Equipment and Product Engineering
• Analyse yield loss trends and identify root causes using statistical tools
• Investigate customer complaints and internal quality excursions, identify Root cause and Define Corrective and Preventive Actions
• Lead or take part of the cost reduction, cycle time reduction, and productivity improvement projects
• Create and maintain process specifications, work instructions, FMEA, Control Plans, and engineering reports
