Job summary

Micron Technology, Singapore, is seeking a self-motivated engineer to join the Probe operations team. You will enhance real-time reporting, analytics and automated workflows to improve production efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in Electronics/CS, solid programming skills (Perl/Linux/SQL/Tableau) and a growth mindset. Internship or semiconductor experience is a plus; collaboration across global teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in any language.
• Strong grasp of Perl, Linux, SQL, Tableau preferred.
• Courses including Computer Science/Engineering or Machine Learning is a plus.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

• Enhance Probe’s ability to perform real-time reporting, monitoring and flagging Production issues using Tableau & customized software solutions
• Develop innovative software solutions for Engineering & Production teams to reduce turn-around time in resolving issues
• Implement code to automate material tracking, product disposition & validation to ensure high-quality products for end-customers
• Collaborate with the worldwide Probe community on projects with significant impact to Probe

• Candidates studied relevant courses including Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning and Programming is a plus
