Job summary

Ambition Singapore is seeking a developer to design, build, and optimise scalable infrastructure for quantitative research, market data processing, and systematic trading strategies.

You will work with Quants and Portfolio Managers to build high‑performance trading systems in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment. Strong Python/Rust/C++ skills and experience with AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Redis are highly valued.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of software engineering experience in a financial space.
• Experience working on Equity Volatility systematic trading platform.
• Exposure to arbitrage strategies and market data systems.
• Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps, Agile methodologies.
• Candidates with prior trading (HFT) backgrounds are highly desirable.

Requirements

• Experience working on Equity Volatility systematic trading platform
• Exposure to arbitrage strategies and market data systems
• Familiar with tools like AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, React is a plus
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Candidates with prior trading (HFT) backgrounds are highly desirable
