Job Summary
As a Global Facilities Standardization Engineer at Micron, you will lead the implementation of systems and programs that improve performance and reliability for all Facilities operations. You will champion a continuous improvement culture that drives operational excellence, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects worldwide and ensuring flawless operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) at your assigned site(s) by conducting training sessions and workshops.
- Track, assess, and communicate the progress of Standardization and TPM adherence for your assigned site(s).
- Analyze maintenance data and derive insights to improve operations performance, reliability, and cost.
- Standardize Preventative Maintenance Procedures throughout the Facilities network.
- Collaborate with Global Facilities Central Engineering to identify, develop, and implement Best Known Methods for operation and maintenance across the Facilities network.
- Conduct audits to verify compliance with Best Known Methods.
- Lead standardization projects to align operations and maintenance at all sites.
- Design, develop and deliver innovative solutions that support a high-performance culture and enhance organization effectiveness.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality of work.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to complete work, training, and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in Facilities Operations & Maintenance or Engineering in facilities, semiconductor, or other manufacturing.
- Project management experience with a focus on delivering results.
- Experience leading and implementing continuous improvement projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
- Experience creating standard operating procedures (SOP's), work instructions, and training materials.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
