What the role is:
As a Shift Engineer for the Joint Operation Centre, you are required to work on rotational shift work. You will oversee and manage the customers operation of the Joint Operation Centre and respond to leak reports and customer water related feedback. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
What you will be working on:
1. Manage and track leak repairs and potential impact to customers.2. Reporting to management on leak severity/repair progress.3. Analyse key operational parameters trends and liaise with different stakeholders for a coordinated effort to manage leaks, poor water quality, poor pressure and no water incidents.4. Ensure optimum deployment of resources (e.g. service van, temporary supply)5. To work with JOC control room staff and oversee the service van crew and contractors team site operation.6. To work on assigned task/projects – tenders for works and procurement; improvement projects; slides preparation (meeting outside shift hours if necessary)7. Assist Department Quality Service team to ensure prompt follow up on department’s cases
What we are looking for:
1. A bachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering2. Able to perform shift work3. IT Savvy4. Able to work and think independently and a good team player and leader5. Good communication (both oral and written) as well as presentation skills6.
