Job summary

GLOBALFOUNDRIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. - FAB 3 is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and support critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment on a 24/7 production floor.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment uptime improvement, while following safety practices and quality standards in a highly technical wafer fab environment. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in engineering and hands-on experience with equipment in wafer fab

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years preferred in equipment engineering/wafer fab.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support equipment readiness as an individual contributor.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot high voltage hazards, toxic gases, and radiation as applicable.
• Execute maintenance and tool support to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
• Analyze and monitor technical charts.
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects.
• Ensure and follow safety practices and custody of tools, equipment and other properties.
• Work on projects and assignments as needed

What You Will Do

• Maintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of an individual contributor
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment (Implanter hazards – High Voltage, toxic gases, radiation)
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime
• Analyze and monitor technical charts
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
• Ensure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipment and other properties
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

What You Will Need

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field
• Preferred to have more than 3 years’ experience on Axcelis GSD/VHE knowledge
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
• Profiles with specialization in manufacturing, or relevant working experience or internship experience in equipment engineering/wafer fab/clean room are preferred
• Exposure or Hands-on skills in Preventive Maintenance/Corrective Maintenance/troubleshooting
