Job summary

Halliburton in Singapore seeks an Engineer - Electrical/Electronics to design, develop and test electrical and electronics hardware and firmware for downhole tools and surface systems. You will work on analog and digital circuitry, power transmission and communication systems, and diagnose instrument problems.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering and at least two years of related experience; Chartered/ licensed professional certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

This may include analog and digital circuitry, power transmission and distribution, signal and communication systems. You diagnose instruments and electrical and/or electronic systems problems. Trouble shooting, repair-replacement and instrumentation maintenance are key task-oriented issues that must be addressed. You may be required to develop, test and debug firmware for a Microprocessor/Micro-controller/DSP system. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of two years related experience are required for the position. Certification as a licensed/chartered professional is preferred.
