Job summary

Halliburton in Singapore seeks an Engineer - Electrical/Electronics to design, develop and test electrical and electronics hardware and firmware for downhole tools and surface systems. You will work on analog and digital circuitry, power transmission and communication systems, and diagnose instrument problems.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering and at least two years of related experience; Chartered/ licensed professional certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related experience in the field.
• Certification as a licensed/chartered professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electrical and electronic hardware and firmware for downhole tools and surface systems.
• Diagnose instruments and electrical/electronic system problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain instrumentation; may develop, test and debug firmware for MCU/DSP systems.
