A leading aerospace engineering company seeks an experienced engineer to develop new capabilities and optimize processes. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree in Aerospace and possess practical experience in the aviation industry. Responsibilities include project implementation, design documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Implement development projects for new capabilities, in line with the company development program on time and within budget
Design, document and implement tools and documentation for new capabilities to move into Production
Identify cost reduction solutions
Be the main technical focal point on all new technological developments
Develop or make development of new bench test in front of technical requirement defined on documentation.
Define and manage industrial means sourcing and necessary tooling for shop development by reviewing and selecting suppliers related to development requirements
For all new development to apply lean method for optimization of the processes.
Follow training for new capability and support production team at the beginning of the production.
Organize a transition with the engineer in charge of the product once development is complete
Work closing with the rest of the engineering team and management to inform them new development advancement weekly.
Any other duties as assigned.
Job requirement:
Engineering degree in Aerospace or equivalent.
3- 5 years of experience related to aerospace industry.
Good understanding in electronic, avionic and electromechanical and knowledge of aviation industry (OEM, regulation, maintenance protocols).
Good understanding of technical documents (such as CMMs, Service Bulletin, OEM documents, IPC, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, pneumatics, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical schematics etc).
Practical experience in the usage of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs.
Occasional travel for the purpose of training/work related objectives.
Office software (Word, Excel) and ERP (M3, SAP).
