Job description

Responsibilities
  • Ensure maintenance work is executed effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to and attend plant failures and forced outages to ensure timely and proper rectification and restoration.
  • Plan and ensure the safe and timely execution of plant overhaul activities.
  • Recommend and implement modification, upgrading, and installation plans for plant systems and equipment to enhance availability and reliability.
  • Manage procurement of parts and services to meet maintenance needs, including spare parts and external services for routine and breakdown maintenance.
  • Lead and manage a team of technical officers and technicians.
  • Develop staff and foster their professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
  • Sound knowledge of Control and Instrumentation, with good understanding of safety and statutory requirements.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethics.
  • Team player with excellent analytical, technological, and communication skills.
  • Available on standby after office hours for emergency calls.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity is advantageous.
  • Possess a safety mindset and demonstrate good workplace safety behavior.
  • Be prepared to be part of the CERT team and actively participate in emergency responses when called upon.
