Job description

We are seeking an Engineer to join our Biomedical Engineering Operations Shared Service team. In this role, you will perform technical tasks such as commissioning, maintaining, and repairing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment. This will also include overseeing the policies and procedures to facilitate work processes, being involved in the coordination of the service and repair activities, and assisting with the contact planning and management of the vendors providing the equipment service contracts. You will also use data analytics to identify trends and predict outcomes and implement corrective actions to resolve safety and risk management issues. Additionally, you will develop tender specifications and perform evaluations for biomedical equipment purchase activities and participate in ad-hoc projects when required.

Requirements
  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry will be advantageous
  • Independent with an initiative attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills
