The incumbent shall provide support to Group BME, Governance & Risk / Technology Lead by preparing technical specifications for tenders, evaluating tender submissions, and providing recommendations based on the technical compliance of medical equipment for the hospitals.

Job Description:

1. Provide support as a specialist department in medical equipment procurement.
2. Work closely with user departments and various stakeholders in the preparation of medical equipment specifications for tenders.
3. Evaluate tender submissions.
4. Provide recommendations to users based on the technical compliance of medical equipment in tender submissions.
5. Liaise and manage external contractors on service and tender commitment issues.
6. Provide technical advisory to end users and senior management on medical equipment-related issues.
7. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. At least a Diploma in Electronics or relevant Engineering course with at least 8 years of experience in service and maintenance of medical equipment.
2. At least a Degree in Electronics or relevant Engineering course with at least 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of medical equipment.
3. Required competencies and capabilities (skills, experiences, and professional licenses).
4. Preferably with experience working in healthcare institutions.
5. Good analytical and organizational skills.
6. Strong communication (both written and oral), problem-solving, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
7. Advantageous to have a basic understanding of cybersecurity and IT network knowledge.
8. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
9. Adaptable and able to respond to changing and ambiguous situations.
