Job description

Responsibilities:

• Work at the heart of our Ready-Mixed Concrete operations: In our world-class Innovation Centre, Command Centre and/ or island-wide batching plants
• Conduct regular in-house testing to monitor concrete raw materials and product performance, in accordance with international test standards and specifications
• Assist in all measures related to product quality control
• Liaise with customers to ensure deliveries are arranged accurately and production targets are meet
• Perform quality control works at both batching plants and on site
• Educate staff and drivers on the importance of good quality control for concrete
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply
• Familiar with the fundamentals of concrete properties, admixture technologies and applications
• Familiar with SSEN, ACI, ASTM, and BS/ EN standards or specifications for Civil
• Engineering and concrete
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude to deliver within tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
