Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Singapore, an RTX business, seeks an aerospace engineer to support engine centers and component repair shops in overhaul and repair of commercial engines. Based in Singapore with regional deployments, you will drive repair development, limits development, metrology and project management.

The role emphasizes collaboration across ELMT Asia Pacific, shop support, and technology projects, with opportunities for growth and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field relevant to aerospace or production.
• 1–5 years of aerospace aftermarket or MRO experience.
• Good engineering aptitude and ability to learn independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate business judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical data meet airworthiness standards; repairs and limits substantiated.
• Carry out repair design and structural analysis for data needs.
• Support customers with field issues to ensure timely shop turnaround.
• Trend hardware distress and inform spare provisioning decisions.
• Research operating environments and component interactions for repair strategies.
• Lead technology projects and engage with CIPT/CAIPT/Shops on priorities.
• Conduct process reviews and undertake project work as required.
• Occasional global travel may be required.
