A leading company in sustainable building practices is looking for an experienced project leader to manage energy audits and sustainability initiatives. The role requires a Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering and experience in energy efficiency and green building certifications. Candidates should possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and drive project success.
Job Responsibilities:
To lead in creating sustainability roadmap, sustainability solution and lead in project execution, providing quality deliverables aligned to client’s expectation
Be part of the Green Mark, Energy Audit and Energy & Project Management team.
Manage and work on Green Mark Certification for Existing Building and Data Centre projects.
Manage and work on Energy Audit / Energy Assessment / Energy Retrofitting, Contracting and Improvement projects.
Conduct site-walk and gap analysis to determine necessary upgrades and improvement to achieve the desired energy & water savings, sustainability, waste reduction requirements, etc.
Conduct energy audit on building services (Level 1 – Level 3) to evaluate their performance and determine necessary upgrading measures.
Conduct energy audit / verification on existing chilled-water plant to verify the performance of the permanent measurement instrumentation and operating system efficiency.
Perform M&V and BMS trending data collection and analysis to identify building & chiller plant operation characteristics, performance, and areas of potential improvement & energy savings.
Prepare gap analysis and energy audit / assessment report according to templates and standards, for timely delivery and closure of the gap analysis and energy audit / assessment reports.
Review and advise on energy & water savings strategies for building undergoing energy efficiency retrofits.
Involve in energy & water efficiency and energy & water consumption benchmarking.
Involve in conceptual designs / calculations, tender documents preparation, tender calling, tender evaluation and project management works for Energy Retrofitting / Improvement projects.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Building Services or equivalent.
Preferably engineers specializing in Engineering – Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical.
Familiar with Green Building certification (e.g. Green Mark, etc) process and criteria will be added advantage.
Familiar with ASHRAE Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Energy Audit will be added advantage.
Effective interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Team player with the ability to work as a team, willing to learn, contribute ideas and assist team member with tasks/duties, when required.
Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse building or industrial services plant and chilled-water plant operational data.
Broad based experience of computer systems and MS Office applications.
Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in M&E / Green Mark / Energy Audit / Energy Assessment, or similar industry.
Candidates with senior-level experience are also encouraged to apply.
Prior working knowledge of ACMV, Mechanical & Electrical designs in Commercial Buildings or Industrial Facilities Plants is a plus.
