Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Benchmark energy consumption and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct site inspections, energy surveys, and audits.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate energy monitoring data and records.
• Develop and implement energy policies, systems, and annual improvement plans.
• Manage and negotiate energy supply contracts and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Lead energy-related and workplace safety projects in compliance with legislation.
• Promote renewable energy and sustainable practices across the organization.
• Stay up to date with relevant energy and environmental legislation.
• Provide training and guidance on energy efficiency and conservation.
• Oversee carbon management and reduction initiatives.
• Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Prepare energy management and audit reports for senior management.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related relevant field.
• Strong understanding of energy regulations and conservation practices.
• Experience with energy monitoring systems and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with carbon management and renewable energy technologies is a plus.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 50001 or similar energy management standards.
• Experience in Power Plant Industry is an advantage.
