Job summary

Job description

Duties:
Provide nursing care and assistance to patients before, during and after endoscopic procedures.

Prepare and check endoscopy equipment, instruments and procedure rooms to ensure readiness.

Assist doctors during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.

Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during procedures and recovery.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.

Provide pre-procedure instructions and post-procedure care advice to patients.

Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of endoscopic equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.

Maintain accurate patient records, procedure documentation and nursing reports.

Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, infection control standards and workplace safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and BCLS.
• Prior experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology or a hospital setting will be an advantage.
