As a disability learning hub, we rally partners from the education, business and disability sectors to provide responsive and quality learning opportunities for persons with disabilities, and to enable their network of support through training.
Enabling Academy aims to bring fresh ideas and build capabilities in the training space to:
- Provide diverse lifelong learning opportunities for persons with disabilities that support them in their personal growth and professional development
- Upskill the network of support – including employers, sector professionals such as job coaches, and caregivers – around persons with disabilities
- Facilitate the practice of accessibility and inclusion among training providers

Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Partner with internal Business Units and external partners, including government agencies, non-government offices, employers, advocacy groups, to establish the skills needs of the Network of Support (NoS) for persons with disabilities.
- Consult with persons with disabilities and their NoS stakeholders, such as caregivers and job coaches, to establish and address their learning needs.
- Engage local and overseas training providers to develop, contextualise, deliver and refresh training programmes and skills development interventions that address the skills needs of NoS serving persons with disabilities and support co-learning between them.
Research and Analysis
- Research and acquire up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of the ecosystem to support business units in achieving their learning objectives for NoS stakeholders, including caregivers, disability employment professionals and employers.
- Ensure programme implementation is aligned to SG Enable’s Enabling Masterplans, relevant policies, strategies and frameworks for NoS.
Learning Roadmap and Resource Development
- Facilitate training needs analysis to assess skills requirements of NoS and identify gaps in competencies, systems, capabilities, and training.
- Develop, implement, and refresh learning roadmaps, training plans and appropriate resources tailored for different NoS.
Training Programme Management- Plan, develop and implement training programmes and initiatives aimed at strengthening the capabilities of NoS to improve employment, employability and independent living outcomes for persons with disabilities.
- Administer training programmes, including publicity, marketing and outreach, course administration, outcome tracking, reporting and other related tasks.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the organisation to support its mission and goals.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- At least degree holder in any discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 year of supervisory role
- Applicants who are familiar with the disability sector and training / education industry, would have an added advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly
- Good organisation skills for project management and to ensure tasks are on track and delivered in a timely manner
- Good command of English, able to write, present and communicate well
- Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines, adaptable to changing circumstances, resourceful in problem solving and meticulous
- Growth mindset, positive attitude and adaptable to change
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
