Job summary
TutorJohn Learning Centre in Singapore is hiring a Full-Time Chinese Language Tutor for Primary and Secondary students. You will deliver engaging and effective Chinese lessons, strengthen language proficiency, and support academic growth in a structured, supportive learning environment. Location: 822 Tampines Street 81, #02-194.
Work Days: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend. Hours: Weekdays 1:00 PM–9:30 PM or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; Weekends 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Chinese/education preferred.
- At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken Chinese; good English communication.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Chinese lessons for Primary and Secondary students.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with MOE syllabus.
- Develop students' Chinese comprehension, composition, vocabulary, grammar, and oral skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners.
- Assist in daily centre operations and scheduling.
- Collaborate with tutors to maintain teaching standards.
- Build rapport with students to foster a motivating learning environment.
