Job Description
Conduct fair and thorough investigations into allegations of violations of Shopee’s HR policies or local laws and other employee grievances.
Partner closely with HRBPs, Legal and local HR teams across the region to advise on local investigation processes, policies and compliance matters.
Triage Employee Relations cases and identify potential solutions to address different case types and actions appropriately by providing clear guidelines.
Analyse and track Employee Relations trends to proactively create a positive organisational culture and build HRBPs’ and Team Leads’ capabilities on managing Employee Relations cases.
Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to identify gaps and suggest improvements in Ethics and Integrity processes and procedures.
Drive special projects, programmes and continuous improvement initiatives as needed, to enhance efficiency of HR operation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner role.
Experience in conducting investigations and advising on disciplinary and investigation processes.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams, regions and time zones.
Strong conflict management, negotiation skills and a sense of urgency.
Good listener, able to identify issues and provide practical solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and succinct guidance and instructions.
Ability to exercise discretion and judgement in managing complex situations and handling sensitive information.
