Job Description
  • Conduct fair and thorough investigations into allegations of violations of Shopee’s HR policies or local laws and other employee grievances
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, Legal and local HR teams across the region to advise on local investigation processes, policies and compliance matters
  • Triage Employee Relations cases and identify potential solutions to address different case types and actions appropriately by providing clear guidelines
  • Analyse and track Employee Relations trends to proactively create a positive organisational culture and build HRBPs’ and Team Leads’ capabilities on managing Employee Relations cases
  • Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to identify gaps and suggest improvements in Ethics and Integrity processes and procedures
  • Drive special projects, programmes and continuous improvement initiatives as needed, to enhance efficiency of HR operation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner role
  • Experience in conducting investigations and advising on disciplinary and investigation processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams, regions and time zones
  • Strong conflict management, negotiation skills and a sense of urgency
  • Good listener, able to identify issues and provide practical solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and succinct guidance and instructions
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgement in managing complex situations and handling sensitive information
