Job description

The role will be overseeing several elements in Employee Benefits business, including people, business growth and strategy planning. The incumbent will be leading the Health EB team to improve the operational efficiency and being able to motivate the team members to strive for success of their personal growth with the company. Reports directly to Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and review the day-to-day work of the Health EB Team

  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities

  • Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department

  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals

  • Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output

  • Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department

  • Review performance data that includes financial, sales and activity reports to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness

  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department

  • Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment

  • Maintain relationships with business partners

  • Communicate regularly with other departments and managers to ensure of consistency of work practice across the company.

  • Work together with other departments for cross selling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with good product knowledge.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in leading a team.

  • BCP, PGI, ComGI, HI certifications are mandatory.

  • Team player, detail-oriented, and accountability.

  • Good analytical, communication and time management skills.

  • A hunger to learn and grow with the firm.
