JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore seeks an experienced Currencies & Emerging Markets Trading Assistant to support senior traders on a fast-paced desk, gaining exposure to live markets, trading strategies, and real-time decision-making.

You will work closely with the team on client coverage and market making. Responsibilities include pre-trade analysis, inbound/outbound trade processing, risk monitoring, and post-trade controls with emphasis on accurate product information for institutional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related field.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain market concepts clearly.
Understanding of risk types and quantitative frameworks relevant to trading desks.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day client requests and needs.
Monitor market drivers, moves, and cross-asset implications to inform trading activity.
Assist senior traders in managing risk, liquidity, and exposure.
Perform pre-trade analysis and support risk management for larger trades.
Process inbound and outbound trades and support end-to-end execution.
Track supply and demand dynamics and evaluate market developments for clients.
Resolve P&L reconciliation issues and investigate breaks independently.
Ensure post-trade entries are accurate and comply with internal controls.
Apply legal, regulatory, and internal risk policies in daily activities.
Contribute ideas and share knowledge to help the team succeed.
