Job description:

Position: Emergency Preparedness Coordinator

Department: Infrastructure & Campus Development

Job Description:

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Emergency Preparedness and Security (EPS), the executive's primary role is to ensure IMH's readiness to respond to various emergencies and maintain critical operations during disruptions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute emergency response drills and tabletop exercises to test preparedness levels, including those related to civil, national, and institutional emergencies.
  • Review plans annually and ensure training, and exercises are conducted to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate crisis management activities and oversee submission of routine/ad-hoc reports to MOH.
  • Developing and implementing disease outbreak protocols, including epidemic and pandemic response plans.
  • Oversee the management of emergency equipment (e.g., dosimeters, respirators, thermal scanners).
  • Perform secretariat duties for relevant committees, workgroups, and programs.
  • To undertake ad hoc/ cross functional projects including management of C3 System and Visitor Management System.
  • Be willing to be rostered for 24/7 on-call duties.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree.

· Preferably 1-2 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

· Excellent organizational and project management skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information.

· Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities across departments.
