Job summary

sggovterp seeks a Development Engineer/Specialist to push the boundaries of Physical and Embodied AI. You will bridge intelligent software with the physical world, designing, prototyping, and deploying AI-enabled robotics, unmanned platforms, and smart automation using ROS2.0.

You will collaborate with researchers, industry partners, and students, mentor capstone projects, and lead live innovation showcases as part of ecosystem growth and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Robotics, CS, ECE, Mechatronics or related quantitative field.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2 and robotic systems.
• Experience deploying ML/DL models (PyTorch, TensorFlow) on physical platforms.
• Embedded software proficiency in C++ and Python; good software practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled physical systems and robotics.
• Integrate AI models with sensors, actuators, and edge devices.
• Lead feasibility studies and pilot programs for robotic automation.
• Manage full lifecycle of applied research, data prep, experiments, and documentation.
• Help translate prototypes into scalable, licensable solutions.
