Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Development Engineer/Specialist to advance Physical and Embodied AI, bridging software with the physical world through ROS2-enabled robotic platforms.

You will prototype intelligent systems, integrate AI models with sensors and edge devices, and lead live innovation showcases while mentoring student projects and collaborating with industry partners and academia.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ROS2 (Robot Operating System) development experience.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models and CV pipelines on physical platforms.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python with good software development practices.
• Hardware experiences with microcontrollers/edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi).

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled physical systems including robotics and automation platforms using ROS2.
• Integrate AI models, CV, and operation systems with sensors, actuators, and edge devices.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilots for AI-enabled automation and unmanned systems.
• Manage end-to-end research projects, data prep, experiments, and documentation.
• Mentor student projects and support ecosystem through demonstrations and collaborations.
