Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Embedded Hardware/ Firmware Engineer to develop, test, and validate PCB-based systems. You will support hardware and software testing, PCB assembly validation, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes rigorous documentation, design verification, and robust debugging across hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years experience in embedded systems, electronics design or firmware development.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with microcontrollers, DSP or FPGA-based systems.
• Knowledge of UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and Ethernet protocols.
• PCB design tools such as Altium or OrCAD or equivalent.
• Hands-on with test equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyser.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
