Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to join our firmware and software team, contributing to embedded software, firmware, and SDK solutions for SparkGrid optical products.

You will collaborate with hardware, ASIC, RTL, validation and system teams, take ownership of tasks, implement features, and help ensure performance, quality, reliability and security across the software stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• 0-2 years of experience in embedded C/C++ development (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and embedded system development.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for SDK and firmware software development and design for chips and devices.
• Participate in system development, maintenance, and software upgrades.
• Develop and implement software features based on product and customer requirements.
• Implement software architecture and application code to ensure system performance, quality, reliability, and security.
• Perform software integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, RTL, validation, and system teams during product development and bring-up.
• Develop software utilities, APIs, diagnostic tools, and supporting applications.
• Take ownership of assigned development tasks and prepare technical documentation and reports.
