Job summary

Seagate Singapore International Headquarters Pte. Ltd. is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to join the Singapore software team.

You will design, implement, test, and integrate firmware for Seagate storage products, focusing on reliability and performance. The role requires strong C programming skills, experience with microcontrollers, and collaboration with global teams. You will debug issues, optimize firmware stacks, and contribute to product quality across development phases.

Qualifications

Fluent programming capabilities in C and Python.
Strong CS fundamentals with data structures and algorithms.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
Understanding of micro-controllers and firmware concepts.
Experience with hardware-software interaction and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded firmware in C for storage devices and related platforms.
Validate hardware features and write firmware drivers.
Work with global teams to resolve problems detected internally or externally.
Exercise independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria.
Contribute to firmware features that improve reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain firmware across product development phases.
