Job summary

Beyondsoft International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain low-level software for ARM-based microcontrollers.

You will bridge hardware and software, from board bring-up to production support. You will design and maintain C/C++ code, develop device drivers for UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and GPIO, perform hardware validation, and collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and systems teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or related field.
• 2 years hands-on embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong command of C and C++.
• Proven firmware development on ARM-based microcontrollers/processors.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain low-level embedded code in C/C++ for ARM-based MCUs/CPUs.
• Develop device drivers and software for peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, GPIO).
• Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and hardware-software integration.
• Identify and resolve firmware bugs using hardware debugging tools (JTAG, GDB, Trace32).
• Design and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system validation; participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems teams across the product lifecycle.
• Support production releases and resolve issues escalated by manufacturing, QA, or customers.
• Maintain clear technical specifications and validation reports.
