Job summary

Mitsubishi Elevator Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage elevator and escalator projects from initiation to handover on site in Singapore. You will attend client meetings, prepare schedules, and coordinate subcontractors to meet milestones.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of project management in construction or vertical transportation, with strong planning, SAP, MS Project, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
5+ years of project management experience in construction or vertical transportation is advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Working knowledge of SAP systems is an advantage.
Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Effective communication in English (spoken and written).
Able to work independently and in teams with responsibility.
Customer-oriented with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Attend weekly on-site project meetings with clients.
Attend monthly site safety meetings with clients.
Attend monthly payment collection meetings at the office.
Prepare detailed project schedules aligned with client master programs.
Monitor progress to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
Prepare and submit site reports as requested.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of site activities and issues.
Liaise with clients to arrange access procedures and routine job duty procedures.
Manage and process purchase requisitions and documentation via SAP, including GR, SR, and project costing reports.
