Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead power and distribution design for client projects. Based in Kallang, you will coordinate with clients and design teams to propose compliant T&D configurations.

You will prepare SLDs, BOMs, GA, specs, and system studies, support FAT/SAT and commissioning, and drive continuous improvement of T&D deliverables.

This 5‑day role offers a base salary of S$9,000 plus AWS and VB.

• Experience in design of power and distribution transformers.
• Experience with MV/LV switchgear.
• Experience with prefabricated substations.

Responsibilities

• Propose T&D solutions meeting customer requirements while ensuring compliance.
• Evaluate specifications to define technical parameters for electrical solution design.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Compliance: Propose Transmission & Distribution (T&D) solutions that meet customer application requirements while ensuring full compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Technical Analysis: Evaluate customer specifications and bid documents to define the technical parameters required for electrical solution design.
• Value Engineering: Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance the overall value proposition of proposed solutions.
• Project Leadership: Serve as the lead engineer, coordinating with clients and design teams to support successful project bidding and execution.
• Design Package Development: Prepare, review, and develop detailed electrical design packages throughout the project lifecycle, including but not limited to:
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • General Arrangements (GA)
  • Technical specifications
  • System studies
  • Schematics
  • Interface engineering
  • Design calculations
• Testing & Commissioning Support: Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities as required to ensure successful delivery and energization of electrical systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in the standardization and ongoing improvement of T&D solutions and technical deliverables.
