Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an onsite Electroplating Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate and maintain plating equipment in accordance with Job Instruction Sheets and carry out precise inspection checks to ensure product quality.

The role requires a NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent, at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment (preferably in Special Process), and the ability to work in a warm environment with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing plant, preferably Special Process.
• Able to tolerate high temperature work environment.
• Physically and mentally fit; willing to perform rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain electroplating equipment as per Job Instruction Sheet.
• Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures.
• Read and interpret Job Instruction Sheet to carry out tasks.
• Follow EH&S and CORE requirements; submit observations and safety-related reports monthly.
• Maintain tidy work areas and equipment; perform housekeeping and TPM activities.
• Notify supervisor of any machine or tooling problems potentially affecting quality or safety.
