Qualifications

Location: Tuas Link

Salary: Up to $4,200

Working Hours: 7:50am - 4:55pm (Monday to Friday)


Are you passionate about surface finishing and process optimization? We're looking for a dedicated Electroplating Process Engineer to join our team in Tuas Link! If you have a strong background in electroplating and enjoy working in a cross-functional environment, we want to hear from you.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with Quality, Marketing, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement and project execution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on chemical specifications, bath performance, and troubleshooting.
  • Support plating line setup, including racks, jigs, and chemical bath design.
  • Lead projects aligned with strategic goals and manage timelines effectively.
  • Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Standardize system documentation to enhance traceability and compliance.
  • Approve sample testing and quality reports for product validation.
  • Introduce and industrialize new raw materials, products, and processes.
  • Implement value-added and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor industrialized material/product performance and drive corrective actions

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electroplating processes.
  • Skilled in analytical tools such as X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-driven, independent, and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
