About the role

Our client, ELSA Advanced Systems, is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to join our team in their Toa Payoh office. You will be responsible for testing and validating electronic modules, components, and systems to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards. This is a full-time position crucial for maintaining the quality and reliability of our products.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures to evaluate the functionality and performance of electronic modules, components, and systems, especially in wireless or IoT areas.
2. Analyzing test data, identifying issues, and recommending corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design and manufacturing, to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
4. Documenting test results and maintaining detailed records to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry standards.
6. Providing technical support and training to production staff on testing procedures and equipment.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics testing or design, preferably with experience working on wireless or IoT areas.
3. Proficiency in using test equipment and instrumentation, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose complex technical issues.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to communicate in Chinese to the manufacturing team in China.
6. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic product testing and certification.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
