Job summary

MKS is seeking a Quality Test Technician to support EE Test Engineering in troubleshooting and repair of ESI PCBA/Control units. You will follow test procedures, perform PCBA testing, assemble components for testing, and analyze data for reports.

You will also maintain 6S standards, manage test equipment calibration, and assist engineers with troubleshooting and rework while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering required.
• Good understanding of analog and digital electronics and testing techniques.
• Proficient in soldering/desoldering and PCB assembly.

Responsibilities

• Follow test procedures and perform PCBA functional testing and measurements using electronic test equipment.
• Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, optomechanical, and electromechanical components for testing and validation.
• Analyze and compile test data and prepare technical test reports for engineering review and validation.
• Implement and maintain 6S standards for test equipment and inspection systems at EE stations.
• Manage and maintain test equipment, coordinating with Quality for calibration.
• Support engineers in PCBA hardware troubleshooting and rework.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to support project and production needs.
• Demonstrate ownership to achieve production targets and output goals.
