A leading company in technology is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team. The role focuses on developing innovative IoT products, involving full-cycle hardware design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electronic Engineering and experience in hardware design for IoT.
Electronics Engineer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team, focusing on the development of innovative Internet of Things (IoT) products. This role involves full-cycle hardware design—from schematic development and PCB layout to product prototyping, testing, and refinement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create reliable, cost-effective, and market-ready electronic solutions for smart connectivity applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop hardware for IoT devices, including schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and system architecture definitions.
Lead the selection and validation of electronic components, including preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost analysis.
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure cohesive system development and timely project execution.
Develop and implement testing protocols for hardware validation, including functional tests, stress tests, and compliance assessments.
Ensure product designs meet relevant safety, EMC/EMI, and regulatory standards.
Support the prototyping, debugging, and refinement of electronic systems during development stages.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design practices, documentation, and project delivery processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in hardware design for IoT or embedded systems.
Strong proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including power management (AC/DC, DC/DC converters), battery charging circuits, and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, DDR).
Hands-on experience with communication technologies such as ZigBee, Bluetooth, Z-Wave, LoRa, and Wi-Fi.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and testing procedures, including EMI, EMC, and safety certifications.
Practical experience in PCB layout design tools and hardware debugging.
Strong understanding of sensor technologies (e.g., PIR, microwave, ultrasonic, PM2.5) is an advantage.
Knowledge of microcontroller programming (C/C++ or assembly) is beneficial.
