Planning resources to ensure fair distribution of workload and consistent utilization of resources
Developing detailed project plans and tracking project progress actively
Providing timely escalation of Risks and Issues to Management and providing risk mitigation strategies
Managing communication with stakeholders, both internal and external
Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and suppliers
Ensuring project documentation is complete and up-to-date
Conducting and running steering committees and ensuring timely updates to project sponsors and stakeholders
Providing mentorship to team members and supporting their developmental growth
Negotiating with higher authorities, including customers, whenever necessary and mediating conflicts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Demonstrated working experience in project management, showcasing a strong understanding of the complete product life cycle process.
Prior work experience in similar and/or related industry is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project.
Exceptional project management skills and a comprehensive understanding of fundamental PM principles, including estimating and planning, risk management, status reporting, budget tracking, benefits analysis, stakeholder management and communication, and resource management. The candidate must be capable of applying these principles independently in complex scenarios.
