A leading multinational company seeks an Electro-mechanical Technician to support the Electrical Engineer with maintenance and improvement of production equipment. Key responsibilities include routine maintenance, repairs, calibration of instruments, and ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and has experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as proficiency in reading technical diagrams.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in workshop practices.
  • Basic skills in the service and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and write PLC programs.
  • 2 years of experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and improvement for plant equipment, lighting, and power installations.
  • Perform repair and improvement work as required.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Electro-mechanical Technician assists and supports the Electrical Engineer in projects, as well as maintenance and improvement works for production plant equipment, lighting, and power installations in the factory.

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance and improvement (M&I) for plant equipment, lighting, and power installations.
  2. Perform repair and improvement work as required.
  3. Calibrate, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electronic instruments.
  4. Execute bench fitting jobs.
  5. Update schematics, single-line diagrams, and programs as necessary.
  6. Ensure all tools and test instruments are in good condition.
  7. Ensure smooth operation of plant equipment and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
What Will Make You Successful
  1. Proficient in workshop practices.
  2. Basic skills in the service and operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  3. Proficiency in Arc & Tig welding is a bonus.
  4. Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  5. Ability to read technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and write PLC programs.
  6. NTC-2 Electrical Installation and Servicing with 2 years of experience.
