Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an SMT production operator in Singapore-West to perform electronic assembly tasks on sub-assemblies. You will follow procedures for wiring, soldering and cable harnessing, and ensure setups meet blueprint tolerances.

The role supports a 12-hour Day shift with a 4-days-on/3-days-off pattern, and involves on-site work at the West location. Prior SMT experience is preferred but entry-level candidates may apply, with health benefits and transport support provided.

Qualifications

• Must have secondary education or higher.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (Day shift 12 hours, 4 days on/3 days off).
• Location: West Singapore, with transport pickup at Jurong East/Lakeside MRT.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing.
• Set up and adjust processes, ensuring tolerances match blueprint specifications.
• Work from process sheets or supervisor instructions to complete production tasks.
• Inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.
