Job summary

ASIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks electrical technicians in Singapore to install and maintain electrical systems, including transformers and distribution gear, with a focus on field installation and safety across overhead and underground networks.

Experience with solar installations is a plus. Responsibilities include preparing cable joints and terminations, connecting equipment, supporting substation work, and performing specialized tests and meter installations.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, brackets, cable crimping, trunking and electrical joints etc.
• Installs and maintains equipment associated with electrical supply such as transformers
• Conducts routine maintenance on the aerial and underground electricity supply networks
• Prepares low and high voltage cable joints and cable terminations, while connecting and installing electrical equipment and overhead lines
• May undertake substation installation and maintenance, and specialized testing and revenue meter installation
• Mobilize ballasts
