Job summary

EVERHONEST MARINE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a field service engineer/technician to coordinate and perform vessel service operations. You will troubleshoot repairs, ensure safety and compliance, and prepare service reports for customers in Singapore.

You will work independently, adapt to vessel schedules including after-hours, and may travel overseas for assignments as required. The role requires teamwork, initiative, and the ability to operate under pressure.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel overseas for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned jobs timely and meet customers’ specifications.
• Attend and carry out rectification works at the site.
• Standby duties for urgent service outside office hour.
• Provide customers with continuous technical and operational program support.

Job description

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with vessel owners, superintendents, agents, shipyards, and ship repair personnel to facilitate service operations
• Troubleshoot and attend to repair works / breakdown works on assigned vessels.
• Ensure that corrective maintenance and repairs are carried out to minimize downtime.
• Prepare accurate service reports, documentation, and certification to comply with regulatory requirements
• Conduct quality control checks to verify that service jobs are completed accurately and efficiently
• Perform routine housekeeping of worksite to ensure the workshop is kept safe, neat and clean for work.
• Arrange timely collection and delivery of equipment for servicing to maintain workflow efficiency
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Adapt work hours flexibly to meet vessel schedules, including beyond standard working hours
• Perform other assigned duties to support team and operational needs

Responsibilities:

• To complete all assigned jobs are completed timely and meet customers’ specifications.

Requirements:

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field。

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Willingness to travel overseas for an assignment as required
