Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect panels and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues or malfunctions.
• Conduct regular tests to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure electrical panels and systems meet required standards and specifications.
• Document electrical panel specifications, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.
• Coordinate with shipyard for the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and panels.
• Manage workshop inventory and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical main switchboards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, including terminating central cables.
• Possession of a Class 3 Driving Licence or WSQ Forklift Operator Licence is advantageous.
• Prior work experience in a shipyard is advantageous.
