Job description

You are an experienced Electrical Technician with a strong background in diesel engines and generators. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical and power systems. As an Electrical/Electronic Technical Specialist, you will be the primary customer support contact responsible for diagnosing and executing complex repairs on generators and components at customer sites.Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining productive customer relations, diagnosing and completing complex repairs at customer sites using specialized tools and documented procedures, performing preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field, and escalating unresolved issues to product specialists. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing technicians, completing required documentation, maintaining service vehicle and tools, and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental policies.To succeed in this role, you must have a full-time presence in Mumbai with an Electrical background and experience working with diesel engines and generators. Prior experience with Cummins products is preferred. You should possess competencies in managing complexity, conflict resolution, customer focus, talent development, self-development, service documentation, technical escalation, electronic service tool application, and product repair and maintenance. Additionally, knowledge of power generation systems, engine systems interactions, and health and safety fundamentals is essential.The position offers a full-time job with benefits like cell phone reimbursement, requiring a day shift schedule. You must have a Diploma qualification, a total of 6 years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years in GCC, and proficiency in English.
