  • Position Title: Electrical Test & Service Engineer
  • Working Location: Tuas
  • Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon - Fri (9am - 6pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system testing during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) according to established protocols and compile related test and quality control documentation.
  • Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of battery systems at client locations across different countries.
  • Offer technical assistance and instructions to customers regarding the electrical integration of batteries with renewable sources, diesel generators, and load systems.
  • Accurately fill liquid electrolyte in batteries, strictly adhering to safety protocols and relevant service guidelines.
  • Test PCB assemblies, relays, battery management system (BMS) parts, sensor inputs, protection elements, AC and DC distribution boards before system activation.
  • Set up and adjust battery inverters to comply with specific national or regional standards.
  • Utilize external DC power supplies to pre-charge batteries as guided by service manuals.
  • Diagnose and resolve both hardware and software issues that may occur during battery operation.
  • Remotely monitor all deployed battery units, track system performance, and address operational issues as needed.
  • Prepare thorough on-site service reports, clearly documenting identified issues and solutions provided.

  • Well-versed in various power conversion topologies and design principles.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving on-site technical issues efficiently.
