Perform sales functions, including prospecting of customers, approach, presentation, follow-up and closing of orders.
Handle all sales enquiries, including in-door sales enquiries / telephone sales enquiries.
Check and compare costing / estimation against actual costs for awarded jobs. Budget planning and control for jobs.
Responsible for correct / accuracy of acceptance level in costing.
Customer liaison and service; Review customers’ contracts, terms & conditions.
Business development / new market development.
Planning and implementation of marketing strategies.
Conduct market research, monitor business environment, trends and sales performance.
Set targets / forecast of potential projects and orders.
Costing and estimation of products, i.e., Switchboards, etc.
Co-ordinate work (internal or external) on drawing approval, quality, engineering, delivery schedule and commissioning issues.
Invoice for completed orders.
Follow-up on payment due from customers.
Review company abilities and capacities to meet the requirements of the customers.
Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors.
Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.
Prefer 3 to 5 years’ sales experience in the electrical engineering industry. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) is an advantage.
At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
With class 3 driving license, possess own car.
Able to travel to China and other countries.
Working location at Tuas Area.
