Job summary

You will prepare and verify bills of quantities, track variations and claims, ensure drawings and specifications are followed, and communicate across departments to manage documents and issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in a subcontractor environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager/director to calculate quantity and costing for tender assignments; review supplier/contractor quotations for compliance.
• Prepare and review bills of quantities; verify quantities and progress payments.
• Track variations and claims; communicate with suppliers and other departments to manage documents and issues.
• Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications and understand general contracts and tender documents.
• Provide budget cost or estimates for variation orders as instructed; liaise with suppliers for presentations of products/services.
