Job summary

NORDIC FLOW CONTROL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation engineer for maritime projects in Singapore.

You will read drawings, manage QA/QC documents and perform testing, calibration and commissioning of electrical systems including MCCs, transformers and panel instruments. The role requires 3+ years in relevant fields, strong knowledge of industry codes, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (maritime related fields) with 3+ years relevant full-time experience.
Experience in Maritime/Oil & Gas industries and shipyards is advantageous.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA codes and standards relating to Electrical & Instrumentation work.
Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsible, meticulous and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Read technical drawings and design specs to ensure construction meets Client GP requirements.
Manage QA/QC documents including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests and non-conformance reports.
Test and Commission Electrical systems (MCC, Transformers, UPS) and troubleshoot Electrical & Instrumentation systems.
Prepare data sheets for Electrical & Instrument systems and ensure conformance with specs.
Inspect installations and verify compliance with design, equipment specs and safety standards.
Coordinate with contractors and clients; supervise project team members as needed.
